I may change thought of the day to thought of the every few months! Sorry I'm terrible about this! So the thought of the day is that I may be changing this tab, to something I can be more consistent with. :)

lol My last thought of the day was in September! I guess I haven't been thinking much! Today the thought is that family is good. My precious mom took today and tomorrow off to help me pack and to take me to the airport tomorrow so exciting! :) Love her and love family! Hug your family today!
Finally a thought of the day!!!!
Sorry it's been a long time coming...so I do not have a lot of thoughts. Just Busy Busy Busy. My thought today is very obvious. We are so blessed. I was working with some precious students, who have some really hard disabilites. There are places in the world that these children might have never saw the inside of a classroom. Praise God we have the oppourtunity to work with these precious babes.
We don't have to stay here.
Well I have not been feeling like myself lately. I recently moved back home after being away for two years. I was at college for 18 months and in Haiti for two and a half months. So now I feel like I don't know how to be here. I am struggling and I feel like I'm trapped. Lucky for us we don't have to stay like this. We can move from this silly "trap" of hurting and struggle. I can see where I am at emotionally and flee from it. Thanks to Jesus we can run to him. We don't have to stay in this vishous cycle. So today what ever hard thing or struggle you are facing know that you don't have to stay there.

Be productive! Some people may not struggle with this, but sometimes I do. I work and go to class at night so sometimes during the day I just want to chill. Today's my day. I shut the television off and after this post I'm only using my computer for homework. I am going to get my stuff done and be productive and proactive today! Whoa! I'm getting pumped up! :)

So I'm not a fashionista by any means! I wear what I like and I like what I wear. I love to see little kids who have dressed themsleves. Stripes with poka-dots. It's the best! Today I am wearing my favorite lime green and purple hoodie and my purple dinosaur earrings. Yesterday I wore one of my favorite scarfs. So the thought of the day is, express yourself. Wear what you love. Rock what you got as I always say! Enjoy yourself and have the best day ever!

So today I am struggling for the tought of the day I have a lot of thoughts. So here it goes...I recently started working at resturant. To be completely honest it's not my favorite thing I have ever done. But I feel as though I am learning all of life's lessons over again.
1) Treat others the way you want to be treated.
So your mom has told you this a thousand times, but it has really came in handy the past few days. For example: Last night I walk in and of course I am the new girl. As I walk towards the waitress station, I can see the girls glaring holes in me and hear them talk about me. I was little taken aback, but whatever I'll just do my job and carry on. So as they bossed me around and told what to do and what not to do, I answered kindly. Onward into the evening they began to speak kinder to me, help me more, and ask me about myself! Thanks for that mom I owe her for that.
2)Don't worry about impressing people in high school just be yourself.
In high school I always tried to just fit in every group, but failed most of the time. I realize now it was so unimportant, because we all just end up scrubbing floors at a resturant together. For example: I go to work and not only do I see people I don't know, I see people that I was so afraid of in high school! Freaking out, I decide to chill and play it cool. Come to find out the people from high school are very nice and have been so helpful.
3)Rock what you got!
I see that this job is going to be a challenge, not because its hard, but because its not my favorite. I have decided to rock it. Work hard and love it. Then one day I will have a real career and be more thankful for it. I'm blessed for this job and for the money in my pocket!
